Austria and Egypt, two odd experiences!

It is rare to find a general agreement among Muslim philosophers with the communist ones. However, they agree here that freedom is more important than democracy. Hitler and Mussolini won the elections. We infer that it is not always the good guys who win, but bad guys can win as well. The western culture does not recognize that and calls for recognizing the results whatever they are, yet it turns back to the usual at the first actual test. When Joerg Haider won the elections in 2000 in the leadership of his party, the westerns rejected this winning. Moreover, when he won the Austrian elections in the year 2005, the western world went up side down and the US government forced him to step down. The White House and the UN threatened to impose sanctions on Austria, so the people broke out and made him step down even he had won the elections. The reason behind this is that he hated Jews and Israel and talked about Nazi period with great honour. The shocking incident is that Haider died in a car accident in the year 2008, hence his people accused America and Israel for this intended car accident.

In the year 2006, Hamas won the parliament elections. Even it was a democratic process, the US, the UN, Canada, Australia government s rejected this winning and declared that democracy is not enough. Therefore, they forced embargo on the Palestinian president, Abo Mazen, and Hania’s government for 14 months.
Likewise, Mohammed Mursi came with a second experience like Austria. Even though, he won the elections, his ideas didn’t match some part of the people’s expectations which lead to an aggravated situation leading to the intervention of the army to topple him down, even he was legally elected!

I believe, for future anticipation but not for past analysis, that there is no loser using the tolerance culture. If I have something to say to the PLO despite what it faces from weakness  and harbingers, I would thank Allah firstly and the PLO secondly  for it taught me and my generation the culture of tolerance. We no longer hate our enemies, yet we pity them. In the culture of tolerance, you are victorious over yourself, your anger, and your negative reactions so that you rise up with your soul while your enemies go down in the sumps of hatred and revenge. We elevated culturally to reach a point where we are no more able to hate anyone. After 76 years of Nakba, we find ourselves with no hatred towards Israeli people, but we fight their coup military culture and we watch how they lose their souls. We see what they do to themselves while they are unaware of what they are doing. Thus, they reach a point that they really believe that Israel is the land of democracy.

Tolerance culture is what humanity needs; whether governments, political parties, or specifically Egypt, or Christians, Muslims, Druze, Circassians, Buddhists, Atheists, or Jews. It is tolerance culture that made Yasser Arafat a remarkable humane figure. Tolerance culture made the “occupied” Palestinian Territories an inhabitable place despite occupation and the Zionist massacres.

In Egypt, like Syria and the rest of Arab countries, it is time for the Arabic citizen reconciliate  with thy self and must realize that the future of  knowledge, creativity, and Technological industrial development is acceptance. The Arabic citizen must know that there is no way to eliminate the other and the extreme trends are no more accepted.

In Egypt, like Syria and Palestine, Economy is no more just a page of the newspaper, yet it is a basic pillar of the Good Governance. Stable income, wages, respectful standards of living, and the outgrowth are not subsidiary. Nonetheless, they are basic pillars for a Good Governance. The economic aggravation is the main reason stands behind the crisis the Muslim Brotherhood suffered from in Egypt. If alternatively, the revolts would have taken place in Qatar, Kuwait, SA, or the rich countries. The countries that are suffering now should spend a spear-head effort to teach the next generations the culture of tolerance and the culture of opposition. Those who spent long time on the royal chairs should know that one day they may stuck in opposition for a longer time. However, the opposition and the government should work together for the sake of developing an economy that guarantees the human dignity and freedom of transportation. The world will not accept us unless we accept it.

Love instead of hatred. Tolerance culture rules and Radicalism is going down.
